- 1) Term used for one of the regions or circuits into which *Premonstratensian abbeys were organised. In England, there were three: Circaria australis (southern circuit); Circaria mediana (middle circuit); Circaria borealis (northern circuit). There was also one for Scotland: Circaria Scotiae.
